hi
despite the fact that i made a resolution to spend less money on cosmetics and other stuff i caved in to temptation and ended up buying a lot of stuff this month ,

so here it is the the very first haul of year 2017

i purchased  this amazing mascara by essence for 450 Pkr and the very hyped up la girl hd pro concealer in porcelain  for Pkr 550 so far so good i will be testing these products out for  a week to write down a final verdict on their performance

i bought another clazona matte lipgloss this time in the shade 514, its  a beautiful cool red looks absolutely gorgeous, i know i don't wear red lipstik but i intend to create a gradient lipcolor with this matte lipgloss. the shopkeeper charged me 250 Pkr for this matte lipgloss this time

the highlight of this post is definitely this beautiful choker i purchased from a stall. i really like the contrast of red and green beads paired with the sparkling rhinestone and gold details, now i have to wait for a event to wear it to , lol

Hello

I intend to write different posts on my blog this year focusing more on various events/launches sand less on reviews this year because honestly I feel that my blog is giving off the slacker vibes and the topics sound stale and boring.

So today I will be shedding some light on e- commerce!! The good and the bad of e commerce and its. Importance on expanding worlds economy.

So What is E-commerce? E commerce is basically defined as commercial transactions conducted electronically on internet or to simplify it more its an online transaction of buying and selling with the help of Interne.

E commerce first surfaced in 1960's when various business companies started using electronic data interchange, (EDI) and rose to popularity in 1990's when ebay and amazon joined the internet and totally revolutionized the concept of e commerce and online marketing. Today stuff ranging from little nail to fancy sports car all can be purchased online via internet.

E-commerce can take place with the help of EDI, email, online shops, social media marketing and web pages. It can be either a business to business transaction or a business consumer transaction.

E-commerce Pros & Cons:

Every inventions created by humans so far has some positive aspects and some negative aspect. Same is the case with e commerce. an invention is only successful when the pros outweigh the cons and that I believe is why e commerce is making a strong impact in the business world. I will first brief you guys about the pros and them jump onto the con.

  • Save on marketing by advertising on social media

And now onto the cons

Cons from consumer's point of view:

 PakStyle.pk: Online Shopping in Pakistan

Allow me to give you an example of E-commerce Pakstyle.pk online shopping in Pakistan.
This stores deals in selling  products from various categories, the catalogue is vast and the choices are endless. Moreover they often run several sales and promotional offers throughout the year. Though one cannot experience the product like one would at a shop but the review left by consumers can be very helpful in evaluating the worth and quality of product. The web store has a smooth and simple design and a very user friendly interface.

The discounts offered are pretty good. One of the features which makes this online store a winner is that they often free delivery on many of their products regardless of their weight which is what many consumers consider when purchasing from a certain store.

Who doesn't like going to weddings, it just gives us girls an excuse to dress up to the nines. specially when there a  single wedding celebrations lasting several days, that's the beauty of south Asian weddings if you ask me but this means a lot of preparations,( meaning: you cant look the same on every event) hence comes the stress and YouTube tutorials which trust me rarely turn out the same as they appear in the video,

Sunsilk introduced three signature wedding hair trends to help out all the young girls and ladies out there who are having a hard time deciding what to do with their hair, the hairstyles are easy and don't require dexterity or salon like skills to achieve gorgeous hair

the 60 second add features Hania Amir  (styled by Yelli), showcasing three easy hair styles for Mayun , Mehndi and Shaadi. the key to all these beautiful hairstyles is of-course Sunsilk's pink shampoo which helps to achieve thick and long hair hence making it easier to style hair to your liking

dress worn in the add are by Sania Maskatiya for Mayun and Mehndi and Nomi Ansari for the Shaadi. and song sung by Rachel Viccaji

this new commercial directed by Farooq manan is like a breath of fresh air, i usually switch to some other channel every time a commercial add is aired because  most of them lack a message and plain boring but this particular commercial had a nice choreographed moves, vibrant dresses, a very shadi-esquie tune/music and three great hairstyles

since it is wedding season why not have a quick look at what is currently trending in Pakistan right now, in terms of makeup i think dewy makeup paired with a vibrant lip color like red or pink is what every one is sporting( i am glad we have finally ditched the much abused  trend of heavily kohled eyes and golden eye-shadow and started sporting more glamorous eye looks and eyeliners)

for hair we are keeping up with the international trends so braid are definitely cute and fashionable,so are thick voluminous hair and bouncy curls. if you are like me and are too lazy to do your hair, smooth long hair worn loose are the safest bet

As for dress nothing beats sari, but the lehnga and mughal era inspired frocks in vibrant fushia, cobalt blue and bunt orange are very popular too amid the masses. for jewelry heavy chokers are in trend right now paired with chunky rings and multicolored heavily embellished bangles

that's all for the post girls .my cousins wedding is coming up next week. lets see what hairstyle i pair up with my gray dress having gold embroidery. i might share a picture on my Instagram account who knows

until
next post

bye

Here is break down report of what I think are the worst beauty products of year 2016

Worst beauty products :

Freemans cucumber mask was the worst mask I have ever tried despite all the rav-views it got the mask does nothing to the skin. Its just like spreading water glue on the face and peeling it off. total waste of money , skin renewing and moisturizing are you kidding me???

Ponds toner is another product which turned out to be a disappointment. It didn't clean my skin or balanced out ph of my face in fact it just made my pores clog up and made my skin break out terribly
the only thing good was its scent and thats it !!!

The very hyped about korean peel off lip tint was another waste of money, it didn't stain my lip a slight bit. the stain just bled on slight contact with water and made me look like a Dracula.

What I think was the best discovered product and what was worth the investment

I experimented with false eyelashes this year and discovered a lot of great affordable lashes in the local market and found the design which suits my eyes best

Best discovery was Korean sheet masks, these beauties are wonderful and give instant punch of hydration, give a very luxurious spa like feel

Good investment was the holika holika bb cream, its smells nice, long lasting and has medium coverage so looks natural on the skin

Also found a skin cream for my oily skin by oriflame which does not causes breaks out and has hydrating properties suitable for oily skin

Clazona matte lip gloss , our very own paksitani liquid lipsticks easy on the pocket , vast color selection and very long lasting

My new year resolutions for the year 2017

I plan to try more  Korean makeup and skincare products as I have been impressed with what I have tried last year

I also plan to write more quality blog posts this year

I am going to try to post makeup looks this year on my blog

Extend my skincare collection and add some good skincare products to my inventory

Just like last year I resolve to finish up more makeup products from my makeup collection

Try to gain at least 5 kg more weight (I am terribly underweight)

Stop buying makeup on impulse

Empties  for the year of 2016

admittedly a few empties ended up in the trash can which i forgot to photograph but the ones i managed to save in a bag are here in this photograph, i finished a full sized chubby stick, a lip balm, eyeliner, a full size face mask and a sun screen , the rest are sheet masks and sample sized creams i finished :)

thats all for todays post !!

what are your resolutions for year 2017?
